Students who do not make the cut in team tryouts will be given a complete reimbursement of their registration fee. In the event that a student chooses not to participate and requests a refund through the office, they will also receive a full refund.

Refund requests must be submitted by the Friday prior to the first game or match. However, any student who voluntarily withdraws or is disqualified from a team after the first game or match, regardless of the reason, will not be eligible for any refund.

Refunds take 2-3 weeks to process after requests are submitted to the district athletic office. 

Please do not dispute athletic charges with your credit card company. Doing so will result in you being responsible for any fees the district may incur.

In an effort to ensure that student-athletes receive the appropriate professional attention for head injuries, the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA), will begin to provide student athletes with additional insurance that is intended to pay accident medical benefits resulting from a suspected concussion when participating in MHSAA covered activities.

BPS will not be transporting athletes to or from athletic events. Families are responsible for ensuring their student-athlete is present at the site, and/or returned from the site at the appointed time. Coaches will not participate in or assume responsibility for arranging transportation for students.
